Job summary

NCC is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Specialist for one of Sweden’s largest construction projects in Northern Sweden. The role involves driving systematic health and safety work on site, reporting to the Head of Staff, and collaborating with production and project functions to improve safety culture.

The position requires experience from large-scale projects, proficiency in Swedish and English, and the ability to communicate clearly in presentations.

Qualifications

• Experience from large-scale projects in construction and/or industrial environments.
• Formal education or equivalent knowledge in health, safety, or related field.
• Proficiency in Swedish and English with clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive and develop systematic health and safety work on site.
• Lead safety inspections, risk assessments, incident and non-conformance management; develop instructions and materials.
• Collaborate closely with production, clients, and project functions to foster a strong safety culture.
