Job summary

NCC is seeking an Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Specialist to drive systematic safety work on one of Sweden’s largest construction projects. The role requires close collaboration with production and project teams on safety initiatives and site management.

You will report to the Head of Staff and contribute to a strong safety culture with a physical presence on site in Northern Sweden, including Luleå and surrounding areas. The position demands willingness to travel within Sweden as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale projects, preferably construction/industrial.
• Proficient in Swedish and English, with clear presenting and communication.
• Ability to take ownership and drive safety initiatives independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive health, safety and environment work on site.
• Perform safety inspections, risk assessments, incidents and non-conformance handling.
• Develop instructions, presentations and training materials for project teams.
