Job summary

Cummins in Sweden seeks an Engine Field Service Technician to perform on-site engine diagnostics, repair and maintenance within the Distribution Business Unit in Maestra, Sweden. Working hours are 7:00 am - 4:00 pm with 100% on customer sites.

You will travel to customer sites and ensure safety and environmental standards while delivering quality service. The role requires hands-on field service experience, technician training, and fluency in English and Swedish, with a valid driver's license

Qualifications

Technician qualification or vocational diploma in a technical discipline.
Engine/Automotive technician training preferred.
Hands-on field service experience.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
Fluent English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and basic repair on Cummins engines at customer sites.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using service procedures and tools.
Prepare parts, tools, and equipment to complete service activities safely.
Validate repairs by confirming resolution of customer concerns.
Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or Supervisors.
Champion safety and environmental standards and participate in improvements.
