Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Lindesberg, Örebro län, Sweden, is seeking an IT Solution Engineer to join our Systems/Information Technology team.

You will partner with local stakeholders and global IT teams to translate business needs into robust IT solutions and support deployment across the plant. The role requires Agile/Scrum participation, security and compliance focus, and hands-on experience with modern development practices, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code.

Qualifications

• Fluent Swedish is required for this position.
• Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code practices.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions, including solution design and system integration.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills with a proactive, customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant Operations Power Cell and local/global teams to support Lindesberg business and technical requirements.
• Lead and support implementation, configuration, testing and deployment of IT solutions.
• Provide ongoing application support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs; coordinate development and integration activities.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with global IT teams and align delivery with plant constraints.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues; escalate complex incidents as needed.
• Ensure IT security, privacy and data governance compliance.
• Improve existing solutions using AI tech and update documentation.
• Assist with test cases and test planning.
