Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Business Consultant to lead NPI, Product Development and PLM initiatives in Gothenburg. You will drive end-to-end business processes and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to realize value in large-scale transformations.

The role demands 8–15 years of experience in PLM, engineering or R&D, with strong workshop facilitation, cross-functional leadership and excellent communication skills. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Domain experience in product development in continuous manufacturing (BoM, configuration management).
• Subject matter expertise in NPI, Product Development, R&D, Engineering, PLM, ALM.
• End-to-end business process mapping from L1 to L4 (required).
• Ability to lead fit-to-standard / fit-gap workshops and translate business needs into functional requirements and user stories.
• Experience working in transformation programs (PLM Windchill implementation, SAP S4 HANA) is good to have.
• SAP Signavio experience is good to have.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, initiative-taking, and an innovative mindset.
• Exposure to AI/ Gen AI / Agentic AI is desirable.

• Lead discussions during workshops and ensure on-time delivery.
• Align with Value team on KPI planning & realization.
• Work with larger implementation team to ensure timely, error-free delivery.
