Job description

Product lifecycle management (PLM) is at the heart of how we design, develop and maintain our products. Our global PLM landscape, built around PTC Windchill and supporting Creo and SolidWorks, is used daily by more than a thousand engineers, designers and production specialists across R&D, Application Centers and manufacturing sites worldwide. We are now looking for a PLM Program & Product Manager to drive the evolution of our global PLM capability and ensure it continues to deliver business value across the entire product lifecycle.

As PLM Program and Product Manager, you are responsible for the strategic direction and development of our PLM landscape. Your mission is to ensure that our PLM processes and systems remain standardized per business model, scalable and aligned with business needs while balancing priorities across multiple stakeholder groups.

You are part of the Business Area IT management team and report to the Vice President IS/IT.

You act as the bridge between business and technology, translating requirements into a clear roadmap and driving initiatives that create long‑term value for engineering, manufacturing and product development teams worldwide.

In this role, you have the mandate to define the roadmap and steer investments, thereby helping to make our PLM capability a key factor in future business success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning and driving the global PLM roadmap, portfolio and budget.
  • Defining priorities and ensuring alignment between business needs, available resources and strategic objectives.
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders across R&D, Application Centers and manufacturing sites.
  • Driving standardization of PLM processes per business model, ways of working and system configuration across the different entities.
  • Leading PLM-related programs, projects and transformation initiatives.
  • Safeguarding the lifecycle and continuous improvement of the PLM platform, including upgrades, integrations and technology development.
  • Identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, including AI, to strengthen engineering and product data management processes.
  • Lead the PLM team as people manager.
To succeed, you will need

We are looking for a professional with solid experience in PLM and engineering environments, combined with a strong track record of driving business-facing systems and process development in an international organization.

You likely bring:

  • A degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience managing and developing PLM capabilities in a manufacturing, engineering, or product development environment, combined with strong knowledge of PLM platforms, preferably PTC Windchill, and familiarity with CAD tools such as Creo and/or SolidWorks.
  • Experience owning product roadmaps, prioritization processes, budgets, and investment planning.
  • Experience leading cross-functional programs, digital transformation initiatives, or business-critical system development, including collaboration with global stakeholders, external vendors, and implementation partners.
  • An understanding of PLM integrations, product data management, and the connection between PLM and surrounding enterprise systems.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
In return, we offer

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a business-critical capability that supports more than a thousand users across our global organization. You play a key role in shaping the future of product lifecycle management, engineering processes and product data across the company.

We offer a culture built on trust, collaboration and long‑term thinking. You have the freedom to shape your area of responsibility while working alongside skilled colleagues who are passionate about technology, innovation and continuous improvement. We believe in empowering people to make a difference and contribute to the success of the business.

Job location

This role requires you to work on‑site at our office in Stockholm, Sweden (SE). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face‑to‑face collaboration.
