Job summary

Axis Communications AB in Lund seeks a Manager of Sales Engineering & Training for the Nordics to lead a team of Sales Engineers and Trainers, driving technical pre-sales success and partner enablement across the region.

You will shape the future of sales engineering and training, mentor a 10-person team across four countries, collaborate with local sales, and engage key customers on complex opportunities while traveling up to 30%.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering or business, or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience of leading and developing people with an engineering background, ideally in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Familiarity with hardware, networking or IP-based technologies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Team leadership: Manage, coach and develop your team, and lead its day-to-day work
• Strategic development: Plan the future direction of sales engineering and training in the Nordics
• Axis Academy: Oversee our courses offered to partners and customers in Nordic
• Technical leadership and Customer engagement: Work closely with key partners and handle escalated technical questions and issues
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work with other Axis departments on events, projects and other activities
• Industry insight and learning: Follow developments in the security industry and keep building your own and your team's skills
