Job summary

EdgeConneX is seeking a Permit Coordinator for the Nordics to manage permit applications for data center development across the Nordic region. You will coordinate with internal teams and external authorities to ensure timely submissions and compliance.

The role requires 2–5 years in permitting or related fields, fluency in English and Swedish, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in permitting, planning, construction, real estate development, or related fields.
• Experience coordinating permit applications and development approvals.
• Experience with external consultants, authorities, or multidisciplinary project teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Urban/Regional Planning, Real Estate, Architecture, Law, Environmental Studies, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation, review, and submission of permit applications across the Nordic region.
• Support permitting strategies, schedules, and requirements for projects.
• Collaborate with BCEI, Real Estate, Engineering and other stakeholders to gather documentation.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for external permitting consultants and track progress.
• Maintain permit trackers and ensure milestones, submission dates, and approvals are recorded.
• Escalate delays, gaps, or risks to the Permit Manager and stakeholders as needed.
• Prepare regular permitting status reports for project teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate permitting meetings and document decisions and actions.
