Job summary

GlobalConnect is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to shape underlay and service development across our Nordic infrastructure. You will translate complex requirements into scalable network architectures and define service models for next-generation connectivity.

You’ll work with BGP, MPLS, EVPN and Segment Routing, and collaborate with OSS/BSS, security, and operations to ensure automation, observability and reliable delivery of network services across Scandinavia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in carrier or large-enterprise networking.
• Deep knowledge of BGP, MPLS L3VPN/L2VPN, EVPN and Segment Routing.
• Experience with OSS/BSS integrations and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve underlay architecture for new and existing network services.
• Translate service requirements into scalable architectures and templates.
• Build automation and OSS integrations using Python, REST, YANG/NETCONF.
• Run lab validation, pilots and post-launch tuning for service lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product, OSS/BSS, NOC and security to define KPIs.
