Job summary

Ramboll Group A/S Sweden invites applications for a Nordics Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate, compliant payroll delivery across Denmark and Sweden within Ramboll’s global payroll model.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, local leadership, Global Payroll Operations and external providers to resolve issues, support audits, implement system enhancements and promote streamlined, compliant payroll processes.

Qualifications

• Strong payroll experience in Denmark and Sweden.
• Understanding of income tax, social security, pension administration, and statutory reporting in Denmark/Sweden.
• Experience with outsourced payroll providers and audits, controls, compliance.
• Fluency in English; Danish and/or Swedish language capability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 guidance and country-specific payroll support for Denmark and Sweden across the end-to-end payroll cycle, including new hires, employee changes, terminations, leave, variable pay, benefits, deductions, and payroll outputs.
• Act as the payroll expert for Danish and Swedish legislation, monitoring changes affecting payroll, taxation, social security, pensions, statutory reporting, and employment-related payments.
• Partner with HR, Finance, local leadership, Global Payroll Operations, and external providers to resolve complex payroll issues, support audits, manage controls evidence, and improve service delivery.
• Support vendor performance follow-up, payroll system enhancements, interface investigations, reporting, reconciliations, automation, and process optimisation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain local payroll documentation, knowledge articles, employee guidance, and knowledge transfer materials to promote standardisation and operational excellence.
