Job summary

SEB is seeking a Solution Developer to join Arenastaden team, contributing to Portfolio Solutions and Derivatives Clearing with modern technical solutions. You will help build cloud-native systems and collaborate with quantitative analysts, product managers, and a Solution Architect.

You will work mainly on back-end systems, with future client-facing work on Business Arena and related portals, in a dynamic and multicultural environment. The role supports hybrid work arrangements.

Join a strong tech team in Arenastaden, closely connected to Kungsträdgården and the London office. You will support Portfolio Solutions and Derivatives Clearing with modern technical solutions – today and tomorrow.

About the role

As a Solution Developer, you will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining modern business solutions supporting two product areas: Portfolio Solutions and Derivatives Clearing. The domain is evolving, and you will contribute to building systems that create tangible customer and business value.

You will join a team of nine ambitious and creative colleagues, working primarily with back‑end solutions while also contributing to our future client‑facing portal, Business Arena. The role also includes participation in the development of several new cloud‑native solutions, in close collaboration with quantitative analysts within Investor Services and CIB, as well as our Solution Architect.

In this role, you will

• Work closely with product management and product specialists to explore ideas, refine requirements, and deliver business value
• Develop and maintain business systems and integrationContribute to the evolution of our microservice‑based architecture
• Design and deliver innovative technical solutions across our product areas

• You are a solution‑oriented developer with a few years of experience in modern software development and a strong drive to deliver.
• You enjoy working close to product management and business, turning ideas into solutions that create real value. You communicate well, thrive in collaborative teams, and are curious about financial markets.
• You bring solid skills in C# and .NET / .NET Core, with hands‑on experience in Python, GCP, SQL Server, and REST APIs.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, containers, observability, or Angular is a plus. A positive mindset and eagerness to learn are essential.
• Experience or interest in applying AI tools (e.g. generative AI, Copilot, or automation solutions) in software development.
• Experience using LLMs as part of your development workflow, either professionally or through personal projects.
