Job summary

Windy Scandinavia AB is seeking a Design Engineer to develop technical drawings and BOMs for production of boat models in Sweden. You will join a small engineering team supporting production, working in design development and engineering.

You should have a university degree in yacht design, naval architecture or marine engineering, experience with composite yachts, fluent English, and hands-on 3D software skills including Rhino.

Qualifications

• University degree in yacht design, naval architecture or marine engineering.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience with composite yacht building.
• Experience with 3D software and Rhino.

Responsibilities

• Designing and engineering all aspects of new boat models for production in Sweden, developing BOMs and 3D/2D drawing documentation.
• Create, manage and maintain CAD models in a PDM system.
• Communicating with external design teams, suppliers and other partners.
• Ensuring the vessel complies with RCD, CE and SCV Regulations.
