Job summary

X Shore, headquartered in Nyköping, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to audit and rebuild CAD data so it mirrors production reality on the factory floor. Initially, you will correct existing CAD data and work with the shop floor to close gaps, then transition to forward-looking platform design for future boats.

You will collaborate with electrical, production, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, reporting to the MEA Manager and remaining on site in Nyköping.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus.
• 3-5+ years of experience in mechanical design, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Audit existing CAD models for accuracy and structure.
• Rebuild or correct CAD data to reflect production reality.
• Align CAD assemblies with current production reality with shop floor.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between design intent and manufactured parts.
• Maintain clean CAD/PDM practices for future work.
• Support production with drawings, tolerances, and clarifications.
• Contribute to the design of X Shore's next generation boat platform.
