Job summary

TGW Northern Europe is seeking Maintenance Engineers to be the primary contact for TGW Scandinavia AB's intralogistics systems, supporting ICA Sweden’s new cold store in Hacksta, Västerås, which goes live in January 2026. The 23,000 m² facility houses a fully automated pallet warehouse with a dynamic shuttle system.

You will perform preventive maintenance, report in DART/CMMS, drive performance improvements, and conduct root-cause analyses.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification; minimum local standard.
• Experience in an operational engineering role within a similar environment.
• Customer-focused with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a time-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance tasks; maintain housekeeping and safety.
• Support automation to operate at max efficiency; produce reports in DART/CMMS.
• Improve equipment performance via toploss activities and design modifications.
• Perform root-cause analysis for breakdowns; electrical/mechanical fault finding and rectification.
• Attend customer meetings; provide updates on the automation.
• Suggest continuous improvement to increase reliability of TGW and third-party assets.
• Coach and mentor Apprentices and Resident Technicians.
• Flexible shifts Monday to Sunday; 06:00–23:00 and weekend coverage.
