Job summary

Coherent Sweden seeks a proactive Process Engineer in Lithography to own and optimize lithography processes for production and development in our InP wafer fab. You will work closely with Production, Process Integration, R&D, Maintenance and suppliers to ensure stable, capable processes and drive improvements across the manufacturing chain.

You will lead experiments, qualification activities and equipment investments while developing new capabilities for future products, and document procedures

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in a technical discipline.
• Experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication.
• Knowledge of lithography and InP optoelectronic components.
• Experience developing and improving semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Own lithography processes and ensure stable, reliable performance for wafer production and development.
• Monitor processes in production area and implement solutions.
• Develop process instructions and train technicians on equipment and methods.
• Establish and maintain SPC and use data to drive improvements.
• Lead process and equipment qualification activities and plan tests.
• Lead new equipment investments with supplier evaluation and technical assessments.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase yield, quality, productivity and efficiency.
• Develop new processes and capabilities for future products.
• Produce clear technical documentation including plans, tests and reports.
• Collaborate with Process Engineers, Technicians, Maintenance, R&D and suppliers.
