Job summary

Coherent Corp, Sweden, seeks a Senior Test Engineer to advance wafer probe and bar testing for InP laser diodes. You will drive improvements in equipment, methodologies and automation to boost product quality, yield and production efficiency.

You will collaborate with Engineering and R&D on product qualification and new testing solutions, mentoring technicians and engineers in test equipment and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Photonics or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own wafer probe and bar test processes.
• Provide robust test capabilities for production, development, qualification and reliability activities.
• Support wafer-level and bar-level testing of InP optoelectronic products.
• Supervise test operations and proactively identify quality and yield issues.
• Improve test yield, throughput, measurement repeatability and data integrity.
• Develop new test methodologies, automation and data-analysis solutions.
• Establish SPC within production and lead test process qualifications.
