Job summary

NILT Sweden Filial in Gothenburg seeks a Production and Development Engineer to join the Mastering team and drive end-to-end AR master fabrication in a world-class cleanroom. You will optimize lithography, etch and thin-film processes, while performing meticulous metrology and documentation for internal and customer projects.

Qualifications

• MSc in nanotechnology, physics, materials science, electrical engineering or similar.
• Several years of hands-on cleanroom experience with lithography, dry etch, and thin-film deposition tools.
• Strong understanding of nanofabrication principles and their impact on process outcomes.
• Experience with SEM, AFM, ellipsometry, and optical inspection.
• Proficiency in Python for analysis, data processing, and automation.
• Fluent in English; Swedish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end fabrication workflows for AR masters.
• Run and coordinate complete AR master fabrication process flow, ensuring alignment with production plans, yield targets and quality requirements.
• Develop and optimize nanofabrication processes.
• Refine and optimize lithography (EBL, maskless UV), dry etch (RIE, ICP, IBE), and thin-film deposition (E-beam, sputtering, PECVD, ALD).
• Execute and document metrology for process verification (SEM, AFM, ellipsometry, optical inspections).
• Define process windows and product specifications.
• Coordinate cleanroom activities across tool groups.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions.
