Job summary

Westermo is seeking a Software Test Developer to help maintain testing tools and develop tests for the WeOS Linux-based OS. You’ll be part of an Agile team, contributing from requirements analysis to coding, integration and troubleshooting.

You’ll collaborate with other teams, explore new ideas, and support features with structured testing and automation, while growing in a friendly, open culture in Västerås.

Qualifications

• Experience using C/C++, Python, or Java.
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Genuine interest in software testing methodologies and troubleshooting.
• Fluency in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and write automated tests for regression testing.
• Review and approve requirements and tests written by WeOS developers.
• Perform various forms of manual testing.
• Maintain testing tools and supporting infrastructure, focusing on cybersecurity, performance, and robustness.
