Job summary

Axis Communications is seeking a Test Engineer for the AXIS OS Platform Test team at our Lund headquarters. You will work on-site with an experienced team, using modern test automation frameworks, test management systems, and state-of-the-art environments to ensure software quality across Axis video products.

You will develop and maintain functional and non-functional test cases, build test infrastructure, and execute tests across internal and external systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience with ability to see big picture in systems and test strategies.
• Hands-on experience in test automation and quality assurance.
• Interest in AI and large language models (LLMs) applied to software quality.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain functional and non-functional test cases (manual and automated).
• Build and maintain test infrastructure, environments, and supporting processes.
• Test use cases and set up test systems involving internal and external components.
• Maintain and develop existing automated test environments and tools.
• Plan, execute, and report test activities; analyze logs and results.
• Troubleshoot and report bugs; verify bug fixes; conduct exploratory tests as needed.
