Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Sweden is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to own the electronics reference platform behind wireless door locks. You will guide hardware development from concept to production and enable global engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable wireless access solutions.

You will design hardware, perform design-for-manufacture reviews, and collaborate with firmware, QA and product teams across multiple countries to keep the platform evolving with quality and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering (or similar) required.
• Hands-on experience across the hardware development lifecycle, including schematic capture, PCB layout, testing and DFM.
• Strong knowledge of embedded electronics and relevant interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the electronics reference platform underpinning wireless lock products from concept to production.
• Provide technical guidance, perform design reviews and support global engineering teams.
• Carry out DFM and documentation for mass production.
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis and drive long-term improvements.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, quality and product specialists across multiple countries.
