Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to own the wireless lock electronics platform, guiding multiple teams worldwide from concept to production. You will design schematics, PCBs and reference designs for high-volume manufacturing, and drive continuous improvement with a focus on reliability and manufacturability.

The role requires a degree in Electronics Engineering, hands-on hardware development experience, and strong knowledge of embedded electronics with SPI/I2C/UART.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar field.
• Hands-on experience across the hardware development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of embedded electronics and digital interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART).
• Understanding EMI/EMC and ability to troubleshoot hardware challenges.

Responsibilities

• Own the electronics reference platform from concept to production.
• Lead design of schematics, PCB layouts and reference designs for high-volume manufacturing.
• Perform root-cause analyses on hardware issues and drive long-term improvements.
• Provide guidance and reviews to global engineering teams and support mass production.
