Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to own and evolve the electronics reference platform powering our wireless lock products. You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, quality, and product teams across multiple countries to deliver scalable, reliable hardware solutions.

You will lead design and lifecycle management from concept through production, ensuring manufacturability and conformity to standards while enabling teams worldwide to ship secure access

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or similar.
• Hands-on experience across the hardware development lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of embedded electronics and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement and component lifecycle management of wireless lock electronics platform.
• Design electronic hardware, including schematics, PCB layouts and reference designs for high-volume manufacturing.
• Investigate hardware issues, perform root cause analysis and implement long-term design improvements.
• Provide technical guidance, design reviews and platform support to engineering teams across multiple countries.
• Perform DFM (design for manufacturing) and prepare documentation for mass production.
• Support hardware verification production test definition, and product certification activities.
