Job summary

Gasometer in Stockholm is recruiting two Sous Chefs to help build a new hospitality destination in an iconic building. You will work closely with the Head Chef, leading the kitchen during service and ensuring top quality and presentation of every dish.

The role covers intimate dining experiences to large-scale events. Requires at least 2 years as a Sous Chef, strong English, and an interest in sustainable cooking.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef.
• Experience in large-scale events or high-volume operations is advantageous.
• Strong English language skills; Swedish comprehension in kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Work across hot and cold kitchen sections and participate in prep and service.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the kitchen team during service.
• Ensure quality, presentation, and adherence to procedures.
• Plan orders and purchasing with the Head Chef.
• Contribute to menu development and operational planning.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and kitchen organization.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver a world-class guest experience.
