Job summary

Alfa Laval in Lund, Sweden, seeks a Project Manager for Production & Technology to lead initiatives that enhance our manufacturing operations. You will steer projects from idea through execution, collaborating with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing, Finance, and Production Engineering, as well as external suppliers.

The role offers broad exposure across the organization and opportunities to influence processes, safety, quality and sustainability, with about 15 travel days per year.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Several years of experience leading projects or coordinating technical initiatives in manufacturing.
• Understanding of technical processes and production environments.
• Strong planning, organizational and follow-up skills.
• Experience with CAD or PDM is a merit.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge (Green Belt/Black Belt) is a merit.
• Good communication in Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and follow up on technical projects within our manufacturing operations.
• Define project goals, timelines, budgets, and resource plans with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities across functions and with external partners.
• Identify and manage risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project performance and ensure objectives are achieved.
• Present status updates and results for management and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to developing our ways of working and sharing lessons learned from completed projects.
• Support initiatives that improve safety, quality, efficiency and sustainability across our operations.
