Job summary

Alfa Laval in Lund, Sweden, seeks a Project Manager for Production & Technology to lead and deliver technical projects across manufacturing operations. You will plan, execute, and follow up investments, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives with cross‑functional teams.

The role reports to the Unit Manager GCC Technology, with travel about 15 days per year; the position emphasizes structured collaboration, strong communication, CAD/PDM experience, and Lean Six Sigma

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience leading projects in manufacturing or technical initiatives.
• Understanding of technical processes in production environments.
• Experience with CAD or PDM systems is a merit.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a merit.
• Strong communication in Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and follow up on technical projects within manufacturing operations.
• Define project goals, timelines, budgets, and resource plans with stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities across functions and with external partners.
• Identify and manage risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project performance and report to management and stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving ways of working and sharing lessons learned.
• Support safety, quality, efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.
