Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a Project Manager for New Product Development based at our Lund HQ. You will lead international NPD projects, coordinating R&D, marketing, production and quality across the BU to ensure on-time, on-spec and on-budget delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s in engineering, strong MS Project skills, and proficiency in cost estimation and risk management. Fluency in English is essential for global collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor´s or master’s degree in engineering.
In depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g,TollGate, Agile..)
Expertise in cost estimation and financial analysis
Advanced user of MS Project
Strong risk management capability
Experience with Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA)
Solid understanding of product development processes
Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

Drive New Product Development (NPD) Process on time, on specification and on budget.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, production, quality, procurement)
Define project objectives, timelines, budgets, resource requirements for NPD initiative
Monitor project process, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
Facilitate communication among internal and external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with regulation and quality standards
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management
Make decisions and manage the allocated resources, within given framework and budget
