Job summary

Blykalla, a Swedish deep‑tech company, seeks a senior Fuel Performance Lead to own the fuel qualification programme for a lead‑cooled SMR. You will develop, benchmark, and defend fuel models, coordinating experiments and collaborating with regulators to ensure regulator‑ready evidence and credible modelling for a novel nuclear fuel.

Qualifications

• 15+ years post‑degree experience in nuclear fuel modelling, development and/or qualification.
• Modelling and simulation experience with code modification or development.
• Fluency in English; Swedish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of the fuel qualification programme.
• Develop, benchmark and validate fuel performance models.
• Coordinate experimental data and post‑irradiation examinations for model validation.
• Interface with regulators and international labs to support licensing.
