Job summary

Neoen's Swedish Development Department is seeking a Junior Business Development Manager to build a portfolio of wind, solar, storage and data center projects. You will identify new opportunities, secure land, and guide permitting through to construction, while coordinating with local authorities, consultants and landowners.

The role requires strong GIS, negotiation, and project-management skills, with fluency in Swedish and English and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or business administration with renewable energy or project management focus.
• 1–5 years' experience in land securing, GIS-enabled site identification and permitting for energy projects.
• Experience with GIS data layers and landowner negotiations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify new greenfield opportunities for solar, wind and storage projects.
• Engage with landowners, negotiate land leases and manage land agents.
• Coordinate project development with stakeholders and authorities.
• Prepare permit applications and bid submissions for tenders.
• Support early delivery activities with Construction and Asset Management teams.
• Manage Neoen's administrative presence in Sweden with local teams.
