Job summary

SwedQ AB in Stockholm is seeking a software engineer to join the Software Engineering department. You will tackle technical challenges, develop backend systems in Java with Kafka-based data integration, and work with Google Cloud Platform services including data processing and storage.

Experience with Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, SQL, JSON, and data security is highly valued. Equity and flexible compensation structures are offered, with opportunities to align work arrangements with client projects.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with Java back-end development and production-grade systems.
• Kafka and event-driven / data integration experience.
• GCP data processing and storage services proficiency.
• Infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform.
• Docker and modern CI/CD practices.
• SQL and relational databases.
• Automated testing.
• Working with structured data such as JSON.
• Experience with Beam/Dataflow, BigQuery, cloud security and handling sensitive data is valuable.
