SwedQ in Stockholm seeks a software engineer to tackle technical challenges and contribute to building a legacy within the company.

The role emphasizes Java backend development, Kafka-based data integration, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and rigorous testing, with a flexible compensation structure and potential equity ownership.

Qualifications

Solid experience with Java and production-grade backend development.
Kafka and event-driven / data integration experience.
Google Cloud Platform proficiency, particularly data processing and storage services.
Infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform.
Docker and modern CI/CD practices.
SQL and relational databases.
Automated testing.
Working with structured data such as JSON.
Experience with Apache Beam/Dataflow, BigQuery, cloud security, and handling sensitive data is highly valuable.
Problem-solving capabilities and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Fluency in both English and Swedish.
