SwedQ Sweden is seeking a software engineer to tackle backend challenges and contribute to data-driven projects. The role emphasizes production-grade Java development, Kafka-based data pipelines, and cloud-oriented architecture using GCP services.

Qualifications

Solid experience with Java and production-grade backend development.
Kafka and event-driven / data integration experience.
Google Cloud Platform proficiency, particularly data processing and storage services.
Infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform.
Docker and modern CI/CD practices.
SQL and relational databases.
Automated testing.
Working with structured data such as JSON.
Experience with Apache Beam/Dataflow, BigQuery, cloud security, and handling sensitive data is highly valuable.
Problem-solving capabilities and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Fluency in both English and Swedish.
