Job summary

Saab AB in Sweden seeks a visionary Head of Identity & Access Management to lead the IAM strategy and team within Group IT. You will shape identity foundations, modern authentication, and Zero Trust adoption across Saab, enabling secure cloud and enterprise operations.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong people leadership and talent development.
• Extensive experience within Identity & Access Management or related security domains.
• Strong understanding of identity governance, authentication, authorisation and access management.
• Experience implementing or evolving modern IAM platforms and operating models.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and identity-centric security models.
• Experience driving identity transformation, automation or modernisation initiatives.
• Understanding of cloud-based identity services and hybrid identity environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience from the defence industry is considered an advantage.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and engage employees and leaders within the area.
• Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for IAM.
• Strengthen identity governance and access management capabilities.
• Support Zero Trust adoption across Saab.
• Drive automation and simplification of identity processes.
