Job summary
A-hub in Ludvika is seeking a Tender Engineer to develop competitive technical proposals for HVDC and power transmission projects. You will analyze customer requirements, craft technical solutions, and coordinate with engineering, project management, supply chain and commercial teams to produce compelling tenders.
The role combines technical expertise with collaboration and communication in an international environment where English is the primary working language.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Tender Engineer or in a similar role.
- Technical educational background in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Good understanding of electrical power systems, transmission or energy infrastructure.
- Experience reviewing and understanding technical specifications, engineering documents, and customer requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities
- Review customer specifications and technical requirements to prepare accurate and competitive tenders.
- Develop technical proposals and quotations for HVDC and power transmission projects.
- Evaluate technical solutions and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management and commercial teams throughout the tendering process.
- Provide technical input for cost estimates, project planning and proposals.
- Prepare and review technical documentation for tenders.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
