Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Power Engineer for HVDC transmission projects in Sweden. The role focuses on development and optimization of high voltage systems, with emphasis on dynamic performance analyses and control algorithm development.

You will collaborate with a team to ensure system performance, engage with AC-network stability studies, and support the Sales department during tender phases. Strong analytical thinking, teamwork, and responsibility are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electric Power Engineering or Engineering Physics.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in power engineering.
• Proficiency in PSCAD/EMTDC, Matlab, PSSE, and DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
• ECAD experience for PCB design would be a plus.
• Excellent teamwork and strong analytical and structured work approach.

Responsibilities

• Working with development of High voltage products and applications.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure overall performance of HVDC transmission systems.
• Participating in interaction with surrounding AC-networks and related AC-Network stability studies.
• Analyzing and optimizing the dynamic performance of HVDC systems, including the development of control algorithms.
• Working on tenders and order projects, providing support to the Sales department during the marketing phase.
