Job summary

Tata Technologies Gothenburg is seeking an HIL Engineer to design, develop and validate HIL test capabilities and rig solutions in Gothenburg, Sweden. The role requires a strong background in ECU integration and automotive verification with hands-on experience.

The candidate should have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electronics, Software, Mechatronics or equivalent and several years of automotive verification experience, including CAN and Ethernet knowledge and Vector CANoe/CAPL proficiency.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electronics, Software, Mechatronics or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Verification in an automotive context.
• Experience with HIL systems and ECU integration.
• Knowledge of CAN and Ethernet.

Experience : 5+ yrs

Key Responsibilities for the Rig development

• Design, develop, and integrate HIL test capabilities and rig solutions.
• Configure and validate ECU, network, and simulation model integrations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and test specifications.
• Support rig operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.

We are looking for you who have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Electronics, Software, Mechatronics or equivalent. You have several years of experience in Software Verification, in an automotive context.

Required Skills

• Experience with HIL systems, automotive testing, and ECU integration.
• Hands-on knowledge of automotive protocols eg. CAN, Ethernet.
• Experience with Vector CANoe/CAPL and Python.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• European Driving license B.

Meritorious Experience

• Working with Vector or dSPACE based HILs.
• Knowledge in Radar sensors
• Knowledge in Camera based systems
