Saab is seeking a Head of Profit Unit Naval Command, Control and Autonomy (CCA) to lead a high-tech, software-driven naval portfolio. You will shape strategy, manage a multi-disciplinary team, and drive customer-focused innovation for future naval platforms, including autonomous vessels.

You will lead across Marketing & Sales, Development and other key functions to secure new business and efficiently execute ongoing contracts.

Your role

We are looking for a Head of our new Profit Unit Naval Command, Control and Autonomy (CCA). As Head of PU CCA, you will be responsible for the next generation Naval Command, Control & Autonomy system built on the latest software stack and serving as the foundation for Saab's naval products above and below the surface, including autonomous vessels. The Profit Unit will play a central role in establishing a software-defined, modular product portfolio supporting advanced platforms such as submarines and frigates. Leading a Profit Unit at Saab includes full responsibility for ensuring sustainable customer value through strategy and portfolio management, product innovation, and the development of a modern technology stack that enables upgradeable, software-defined products prepared for the aftermarket business.

As Head of PU CCA, you will lead a management team consisting of representatives from Marketing & Sales, Development, and other key functions, supporting you in achieving both short- and long-term targets. You will play an important role in customer relations and collaborate closely across Saab programmes, both to secure new business and to execute ongoing contracts efficiently. You will be part of the Business Unit Naval Combat Systems Management Team within Saab Business Area Naval.

• Documented experience of leading a complex, high-tech organisation with highly skilled employees across AI, data, software and hardware domains, with a strong focus on customer delivery
• Strong product vision to keep us at the forefront of the market and relevant to our customers' needs
• Ability to establish and maintain a strong network of customers, industrial partners, and other key stakeholders
• Deep understanding of modern software engineering practices, software factories, AI-enabled development, and the future potential of agentic software engineering
• Experience in product planning and an end‑to‑end perspective on how to create modularised solutions that deliver customer value
• Documented experience of leading software-intensive product development and driving technology transformation in a complex engineering environment
