Job summary

Epidemic Sound in Stockholm is seeking a VP of Engineering for Foundational Platform to own the reliability, scalability, and security of our core infrastructure. You will lead five platform teams, shaping a technical vision that serves multiple product areas and enterprise customers.

You will drive the Developer Experience and champion agentic development across the organization, ensuring AI models and agents move from experiment to production with solid MLOps backing.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in platform or infrastructure engineering.
• 15+ years in software engineering with at least 5 in leadership roles managing managers.
• Experience leading at scale (Director/VP/CTO) across multiple teams in a growth company.
• Experience with agentic AI systems in production.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of how platform investments affect velocity, cost, and margins.
• Active use of AI agents in your work and embedding agentic practices in teams.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, scalability, and security of core infrastructure including identity and authorization.
• Lead and develop engineering managers and teams across five platform groups.
• Set a technical vision and roadmap aligned with product needs and platform strategy.
• Drive Developer Experience to enable rapid service building, evolution, and operation.
• Champion agentic development practices ensuring AI models move to production with robust MLOps.
• Maintain commercial accountability across the group for velocity, cost, and margins.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to align platform direction with product needs and communicate outcomes.
