Job summary

Saab AB invites applications for Head of IT Area Enterprise Governance Services to lead the organisation delivering application services that support Saab’s Group Functions. You will shape priorities, drive service roadmaps, and ensure lifecycle governance aligned with business needs and compliance.

The role focuses on reliable delivery, security, cost efficiency, and transformation, working with stakeholders to translate requirements into concrete improvements and modernisation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading application management and development, combining reliable service delivery with digital transformation.
• Strong understanding of service lifecycle management and continuous improvement.
• Experience developing service roadmaps and prioritising business needs.
• Experience managing and developing application services supporting corporate functions is considered an advantage.
• Experience managing IT vendors and following up service delivery and costs.
• Understanding of information security and compliance requirements in application management.
• Experience driving organisational and technology transformation in complex environments.
• Experience from large, complex and global organisations.
• Experience from the defence industry is considered an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and engage employees within the area
• Ensure reliable, secure and cost-effective application management and service delivery
• Define and drive service roadmaps and lifecycle plans together with business stakeholders
• Translate business needs into prioritised improvements and development initiatives
• Ensure that information security and relevant compliance requirements are addressed throughout the application lifecycle
• Drive modernisation and the adoption of cloud, AI and automation
• Manage service performance, costs and vendor delivery against agreed commitments
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, vendors and partners to strengthen governance, compliance and value realisation
