Caire, a Stockholm-based AI-powered home-care software company, seeks a hands-on Head of AI to own the agent harness and delivery pipeline from PRD to production. This is a building role with leadership exposure but deep engineering work at its core.
You will collaborate directly with the founder and CEO to drive automated testing, secure deployments, and performance improvements across stage, pilot and production.
Head of AI — hands‑on owner of Caire’s agentic delivery pipeline
Stockholm · Full-time, permanent · Salary plus options
Caire builds AI-powered home‑care operations software. What you build affects whether a client receives their visit on time and whether care staff get through their day.
We are hiring a hands‑on engineer to own and develop the agent harness and delivery pipeline from PRD to production. You will work directly with Björn Evers, founder and CEO. This is a building role: leadership experience is welcome, but hands‑on engineering is at its core.
Caire has been built by a founder orchestrating AI coding agents. Today, 10–100 agents work in parallel, with isolated working copies and test databases. The next step is a supervised agent fleet: agents that start, verify and review each other’s work within clear guardrails, with people steering by intent and stepping in by exception.
Your first mandate is launch readiness. The first months focus on tests, performance, security, refactoring, the harness, DevOps and predictable deployments across stage, pilot and production.
Experience in an AI‑first company; React, GraphQL or PostgreSQL; optimisation and scheduling; information security in healthcare or another regulated field. English is our language for code and documentation.
TypeScript, Node.js, Yarn and Turborepo; React and Vite; Apollo GraphQL, Prisma and PostgreSQL; Expo/React Native; Timefold; Azure OpenAI in Sweden Central; AWS in Stockholm, Clerk, Sentry and CloudWatch; Vitest and Playwright; Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.
First 14 days: assess launch readiness, establish delivery baselines and ship the first stabilisation fixes.
First 30–60 days: make releases predictable and close the launch‑readiness gaps.
By 90 days: establish a stable delivery pipeline that takes a clear PRD through to production without depending on the founder to implement or review every change.
Start by agreement. Based in Stockholm. Full-time, permanent employment with salary plus options.
