Job description

About the Role

Join a new AI software engineering team within R&D building production systems that enable AI agents to contribute across the software lifecycle. You will help develop and evaluate a reusable framework for parallel agent workflows, with a focus on proving that faster engineering remains reliable, secure, and maintainable.

What You'll Do
  • Build and maintain software for agent orchestration, evaluation, codebase analysis, and verification.
  • Develop evaluation suites, deterministic checks, and regression tests to assess agent-generated changes.
  • Help design how work is decomposed across agents, including dependencies, shared state, tools, guardrails, and human review.
  • Own a well-scoped system from design and implementation through operation, sharing clear findings and confidence levels.
  • Work with product engineering teams to inform pilot decisions and improve agentic workflows.
What We're Looking For
  • Four to seven years of production software engineering experience, including hands-on work building AI agents or tool-using LLM systems beyond chat completion.
  • Experience creating systems from scratch and shipping and maintaining production-quality software.
  • Strong testing instincts and experience building features with rigorous verification.
  • Ability to learn an unfamiliar, complex codebase and reason about work as a dependency graph.
  • Product development experience across varied software work, with ownership balanced by openness to architecture guidance and review.
  • Familiarity with graph-shaped systems and concurrent work, such as DAGs, build systems, or queues, is useful.
  • Experience with agent orchestration frameworks, static analysis, CI/CD, evaluation methods, experimental design, or A/B testing is relevant.
  • Bootcamp graduates and self-taught candidates are welcome.
