Job summary

Volvo Group invites you to join its 15-month Graduate Program in Gothenburg, Sweden, designed to develop future leaders in purchasing. You will rotate between local and international placements, gaining exposure to operations, engineering and procurement while working on real projects from day one.

You will join the Metal purchasing department in a role that blends commercial responsibilities with cross-functional teamwork, aimed at delivering sustainable transport solutions and strong supplier

Qualifications

Master’s degree required or equivalent.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Willing to travel and participate in international short-term assignments.
Experience from academic projects/internships is acceptable.

Responsibilities

Support supplier and/or commodity portfolio in line with needs and strategy.
Prepare and support sourcing activities, negotiations and contracts with focus on quality, cost, delivery, sustainability.
Collaborate across Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, Logistics and Quality to improve end-to-end flow.
Build relationships with supply partners and internal stakeholders in a global context.
Use data and digital tools to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
