Job summary

H&M is seeking a Legal Counsel to join the Tech Legal team at our Stockholm head office. You will provide advice on a broad range of tech-related legal matters and support the business on opportunities and risks from a global perspective.

The role involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating tech agreements, while collaborating with diverse teams across markets and brands to achieve optimal business outcomes.

Qualifications

• A university law degree.
• At least 3 years' work experience involving tech-related commercial contracts in an international setting.
• Negotiation experience from commercial agreements with vendors or customers of all sizes.
• Knowledge of contract law, including drafting commercial agreements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Familiarity with data privacy and AI is a merit.
• Experience working in cross-functional and international teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial, contractual and negotiation support for tech contracts across H&M Group brands, regions and markets.
• Draft, review and interpret legal documents and agreements.
• Advise on contract formation, performance, risk allocation and negotiations.
• Support the business through all phases of relationships, from initial contacts to closure.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide comprehensive legal support across the group.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders as a trusted legal advisor.
