Job summary

Amazon’s Legal Department seeks a talented technology or procurement lawyer to support AWS in selling to public sector and commercial customers across EMEA, with a focus on Sweden. You will draft and negotiate strategic technology agreements, advise on public procurement, and provide regulatory guidance to senior leaders.

The role is based in Stockholm with some regional and international travel. You will collaborate across teams to transform contract operations and support agile business

Qualifications

• Qualified to practice law in Sweden.
• Minimum of 5+ years post-qualification legal experience.
• Experience in law firm, government, or in-house at a technology company.
• Transactional experience, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Professional fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and advise on strategic technology service agreements and public procurement.
• Provide legal support for local and regional services and initiatives, including regulatory interpretation.
• Offer ongoing legal counsel to senior executives and business and legal teams on procurement, data protection, and compliance matters.
• Lead as lead counsel on strategic sales transactions and partnerships with public sector and enterprise customers.
