Job summary

Cytiva Sverige AB is seeking a Manager of Global Service Readiness Engineering to lead a team of service readiness engineers and ensure timely, high-quality support across NPD and lifecycle activities. The role is based in Uppsala, Sweden, or Portsmouth, UK, and is onsite.

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree, strong leadership experience, and proven ability to collaborate across R&D, Manufacturing, and QA to deliver reliable service solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and relevant work experience in service engineering, field service or product development.
• Experience leading or supervising technical teams with hiring and performance management.
• Experience in cross-functional NPD or product lifecycle teams and meeting tollgate deadlines.
• Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 13485, GMP/GxP) and design control processes.
• Fluency in English; Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of service readiness engineers, including hiring, onboarding and performance management.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality service deliverables.
• Drive service readiness in NPD projects, including DFS scoring and spare parts strategies.
• Manage lifecycle activities with documentation updates, field modifications and engineering changes.
• Serve as SME on service aspects for the CIBP portfolio and interface with central functions and regional teams.
