Job summary

Apica is seeking a driven Business Controller to own financial planning and analysis across the US, EMEA, and APAC. You will drive ARR reporting, gross margin optimization, and product profitability while partnering with Sales, Product & Tech, and Operations.

The role emphasizes automation, data-driven insights, and scalable processes in a global software environment. You will work closely with a finance team, leverage AI tools like Claude Cowork to accelerate automation, and report to the CFO

Qualifications

• A finance degree with 3–5 years of experience in controlling.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI) and with gross profit/product profitability models.
• Experience with subscription business models or ARR-based reporting.
• Experience in an international business environment.
• Fluent in English; strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership across Sales, Product & Tech, and Operations to deliver actionable insights.
• Analyze ARR, revenue recognition, and data quality; oversee daily O2C processes.
• Own Maxio, ensure accurate ARR and contract reporting.
• Support Sales with renewals, quotes, and pipeline analytics.
• Optimize cloud environments to safeguard gross margins and product profitability.
• Develop and present monthly Board and investor decks with CFO.
• Assist in budgeting and rolling 12‑month forecasts.
