Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager for the GI Valves Product Group to lead quality, reliability and manufacturing excellence across a global footprint. Based in Sweden (Västerås or Ludvika), you will drive Lean, Six Sigma, APQP and robust process controls while collaborating with engineering, supply chain and production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience leading manufacturing quality and CI across global sites.
• Proven track record delivering improvements in quality, reliability and efficiency.
• Experience in multi-site global manufacturing organizations and APQP.

Responsibilities

• Lead Global Quality & Continuous Improvement strategy for GI Valves across sites.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma and PDCA maturation and problem-solving.
• Partner with factory leadership to raise productivity and reduce waste.
• Strengthen product quality and reliability through robust controls.
• Lead APQP deployment across product lifecycle and value streams.
• Translate lessons from design, manufacturing and suppliers into improvements.
