Job summary

Volvo Construction Equipment is seeking a Head of Public Affairs to shape external policy environment, strengthen strategic partnerships and translate political developments into business opportunities. You will advise senior executives on developments shaping our industry and represent Volvo CE in dialogues with policymakers, regulators and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Public Affairs or government relations.
• Knowledge of Swedish and European political institutions and decision-making processes.
• Ability to translate policy developments into business opportunities.
• Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

• Lead Volvo CE's Global Public Affairs agenda.
• Advise senior leadership on political, regulatory and geopolitical developments.
• Develop evidence-based policy positions, advocacy plans and key messages.
• Build trusted partnerships with policymakers, NGOs, industry associations and customers.
• Coordinate Volvo CE contributions with Volvo Group Public Affairs.
