Fortum in Sweden seeks a Public Affairs Manager to support its public affairs agenda, strengthen stakeholder engagement and ensure a clear Fortum voice across priority policy issues. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of business, politics, sustainability, and communications.

You will work with Fortum teams to identify opportunities, build alignment and turn shared priorities into action, both nationally and at Nordic/EU levels.

Competenze

• Minimum 7 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, public policy, communications or related field.
• Strong understanding of Swedish politics, policymaking and regulation; energy/climate experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Swedish and English.
• Ability to build trust and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Support development and implementation of public affairs strategies in Sweden.
• Advance opportunities to strengthen Fortum’s external positioning and stakeholder engagement.

• Coordinate cross-functional work to shape Fortum’s policy agenda and drive priorities forward.
• Act as a trusted partner to colleagues on public affairs matters.
