Volvo Construction Equipment Eskilstuna is seeking a progressive People & Culture Partner to lead the agenda across Technology and other functions. You will translate strategy into action, shape leadership capability, and drive culture, performance, and talent initiatives in a global, matrix organization.
The role requires a university degree in a relevant field and broad experience with People & Culture in international settings, plus strong Swedish and English.
Transport is at the core of modern society. Imagine using your expertise to shape sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions for the future. If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.
Our world is a world of change, and our industry is transforming just as fast, driven by sustainability, digitalization, and new customer demands. At Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE), we see it as an opportunity to protect our planet and to build the world we all want to live in.
Volvo CE is built by great people and great collaboration. We believe in a safe, diverse, and inclusive workplace where people can grow, innovate, and perform to their full capacity. With curiosity, imagination and technological innovation, we develop solutions that shape our future.
One of our current People & Culture Partners is moving on to the role of Head of P&C for Support Functions on a Global Scale. Therefore we are now looking for a progressive, business-minded and human-centric Business Partner to join our team.
This is not an ordinary People & Culture Partner role.
As our People & Culture Partner, you will play a key role in driving the People & Culture agenda in close collaboration with leaders and colleagues across Volvo CE. The role is anchored in Technology, but highly cross-functional, with strong interfaces across the business. You will work close to the organization, translating strategy into action and helping turn ambition into concrete results.
At Volvo CE, People & Culture is a natural and integrated part of the business. We support leaders in turning direction into everyday actions, and we expect our People & Culture partners to bring both strategic perspective and a strong do-it mentality.
With Volvo CE’s Strategy in focus, you will help drive the people agenda in a changing environment shaped by digitalization, electrification, automation, connectivity, and sustainable power solutions. You will also contribute to strengthening collaboration across Technology and other parts of the organization, helping build a unified and high-performing culture.
As a member of the People & Culture team, you will have responsibility for driving key people through processes and initiatives within areas such as Culture, Leadership, Competence, Performance, and Talent. You will support managers in translating strategy into people activities and follow through on actions that create real impact.
You will work in cross-functional networks in a global organization, collaborating with leaders and stakeholders from different functions and sites. Curiosity, presence, and the ability to build strong relationships are essential in this role. You will listen, learn, support, and help create the conditions for the future of Technology at Volvo CE.
You care deeply about people, business, and the world we live in. Building trustful relationships comes naturally to you, as do empathy, genuine curiosity, and clear communication. You listen well, adapt your message to different audiences, foster open dialogue, and manage conflicts constructively.
You are an inclusive collaborator and co-creator who shares your competence generously and is equally eager to learn from others. You have the confidence to work independently, the ability to turn strategy into action, and the drive to create progress in complex environments.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, as they are key to thriving in this role.
