Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Ludvika is seeking an Order & Shipping Manager to lead end-to-end order fulfillment and shipping, ensuring customers worldwide receive products safely, efficiently, and on time.

You will manage an order management and shipping team, collaborate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Finance and Sales to drive operational excellence and strong customer satisfaction, with a clear focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience within Project management, logistics, supply chain, operations, or manufacturing.
• Strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven track record of driving operational improvements and delivering business results.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the order fulfillment process from customer order through shipment and delivery.
• Ensure excellent on-time delivery performance and proactively manage delivery risks.
• Oversee shipping, transportation, export documentation, and logistics coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer service, lead times, productivity and quality.
• Manage departmental performance, budget, and working capital.
• Develop and coach a high-performing team while fostering a strong culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration.
